Our Sustainability Approach
For us, sustainability is embedded in the business—not a standalone project. We deliver tangible improvements for the environment, the economy, and society while providing safe, reliable, and energy-efficient transformer solutions. Sustainability shapes how we design, manufacture, and maintain our products—and how we collaborate with customers, suppliers, and employees.

The UN SDGs guide how we develop, manufacture, and deliver. Our actions are rooted in our values and in our role as a producer of power and industrial transformers that enable electrification and the green transition—both in Norway and globally.
How we contribute (selected goals)
Goal 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy: Our transformers are critical for efficient distribution of renewable energy, delivering safe, stable, and environmentally friendly power with high efficiency.
Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth: We put people first with safe, inclusive workplaces and continual skills development. We also monitor and document all subcontractors to ensure ethical practices and fair working conditions throughout the value chain.
Goal 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: We invest in technology development, digitalization, and energy-efficient solutions that reduce resource use and increase operational reliability across a robust power grid.
Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production: We reduce environmental impact through efficient resource use, waste reduction, and high rates of recycling—and we place clear requirements on suppliers to ensure responsibility across the entire value chain.
